I proposed a motion
That Council:
1. Recognise this matter as a public advocacy issue with potential public health implications.
2. Advocate on this potential public health issue to ensure community welfare and trust.
3. Reaffirm our commitment to transparency, public confidence and accountability within our public health institutions.
4. Request six monthly briefings on developments related to reported DNA contamination in COVID-19 mRNA vaccines from the State Government and the TGA. The first should be sought in the New Year and Mid Coast Council to maintain an awareness of the emerging issues.
5. Write to the Prime Minister endorsing the letters of the Honourable Russell Broadbent MP dated 20 September, 25 September and 29 October, in which Council calls for the immediate suspension of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 products under the same terms as expressed by Mr Broadbent.

1. Council notes some members of the community have expressed concerns over alleged DNA contamination and other related matters associated with Covid 19 Vaccinations.
2. Council encourages members of the community to address their concerns with their respective State or Federal Members of Parliament noting that Local Government’s auspices does not extend to oversight on public health administration.
